Hi! I'm looking into buying a sampler pack of tobacco flavored ejuices at V4L and they don't have the 6mg nicotine level which I'm planning on regularly vaping. I don't want to try the ejuice at 11mg and then buy the 6mg later and be disappointed by a much less throat hit and flavor. Do you think there would be a noticeable difference? Thank you!!!

juicejunky - Thank you for your input! I think I'm just going to get my ejuice from a vendor that is selling 6mg nic right now so my taste buds won't possibly be disappointed! :)

Vaping at nic levels over what you are used to could increase your level of addiction and for me it sometimes makes me crave smokes again, even after a year of vaping. I normally vape 12mg and sometimes buy 18mg for times I can't chain vape. It pretty much tastes the same to me but if I chain vape 18mg I get a mild headache and get cravings.

Good idea to wait for the level you want and try something else in the meantime.

player30 - That's great news to hear that there was a bit more flavor with lowering the nicotine and no noticeable decrease in TH! Now I'm having more confidence that my ejuices will be good at a 6 mg nic level. Thank you for your input!!!! I love your avatar! It makes me think of down south which is where you are! :)

I can't feel a throat hit on either of those nic levels as I need at least an 18mg juice to feel much at all. Like it was said before, we are all so different and what we experience subjectively as we vape can be quite different from the next man or woman. The only way for you to truly know the answer to this question is to try it out for yourself.

There is a definite difference in throat hit between 6mg and 11mg .... I find 12mg much to strong in terms of throat hit, and 6mg is perfect for me. As far as how the juice tastes ... I did not notice a difference in taste, only in TH.

sobero4 - Thank you so much for your input! I bought mostly 6mg nicotine juices thinking that I could vape more and not exceed the 24mg nic in a pack of average cigarettes but I don't know how that will work out! I also bought a 30ml bottle of 24mg nicotine juice in case! :) I'll have to try the 6mg and 24mh to see the difference in TH.

Nikkita6 - Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you didn't notice a flavor change! That's very interesting that there is a notable difference between the TH of 6mg and 11mg! Above I mentioned that I may end up needing the 24mg but I sure hope that 6mg satisfies me enough like it does for you!!! The less nicotine I have to inhale the better in my humble opinion! :)

Me too. I started at 24mg, and for some strange reason, I've been having to cut back every other week. Just got an order of 6mg samples in from a variety of vendors, and so far I'm loving the flavors. Not much throat hit, but good vapor = I'm pleased!

Glad to know even the vendors think more flavor comes through with less nic. Flavor is what's keeping me interested! :)

swedishfish - That's good news about the flavor but sad news about no TH. Since I haven't even vaped yet I can't imagine what TH and no TH feels like and how important it will be to me! I smoke two packs of cigarettes a day lately so it might be really important to me. I hope not though! I'll have to see! Thank you for sharing!!

If you're a heavy smoker, you're going to want TH. I bought a bottle of 12 and 24 when I started figuring I could add to the 12 or reduce the 24 to see the best strength for me and 24 was it.

Once you're off cigarettes you can reduce nicotine if you want to. I think for most people they do gradually anyway. The goal is to get off cigs. Don't be afraid of nicotine. You've been using it for years probably.
