So I have gotten 3 different types of cartridges for 901s.

1 - The black whistle tip where the whistle tip is very thin
2 - The Tan whistle tip where the whistle tip is thicker
3 - The tan round style - no whistle tip at all.

I think I like the black think whistle tip best, and I noticed it has a better throat hit. But, also the filler doesnt hold together as well, which I am sure isnt the best for the atomizer.

The Tan whistle tip, #2, I dont like much at all. It seems to go dry even when there is still fluid in it and you can only fit another 2 drops in when it vapes like its dry. Kind of a pain, not great throat hit.

The round one, #3, is in the middle - it performs ok, but not as great of a throat hit as the black one (#1).

Does anyone know the history of these and what they were originally intended for? I think #2 was originally for the 4075's.

Edit - added an image. Sorry for the quality - iphone camera kinda sucks.

Thanks!

Oh, one thing I forgot to put - If they were designed for 901 or 4075 specifically, that would be interesting to know since I have both styles of atty. I know the 901 has a pointy bridge, so it actually sticks up into the filler a little.

Using #2 for a 4075 which doesnt stick up that far, is pretty much pointless, in my experience.

The 901 atty seems to get decent performance out of anything you stick on it, but the thin whistle tip is always best for me. (#1)
