still pretty new to this but i've been building a few coils and i build within the limits of my batteries but i've had one question that i was hoping would get answered without me asking the noob question but that hasn't happened lol.

so what is the difference between a Macro, a Micro, and a Nano coil?

mainly i twist 28g and do my wraps on a 3/32 or 5/64 bit i just find it easier for me to get my wraps pretty with twisted wire than it is with normal wire.

Macro is a coil that has above average diameter and uses more wire so normally is higher in ohm ratings. Micro coils are slightly smaller than average size coils and they are typically lower in ohms which means that you can make longer coils which in turn means more surface space which means more flavor, yay. Nano coils are even smaller than micro coils, these should be built with caution because they typically are very low in ohms, but once again can be built with more wraps to get higher ohms, which means better flavor. There are also super nano coils which are even smaller! can you believe it, but once again when you get into nano and super nano you must be careful that your ohms are not to low.

hope this clarifies stuff.

not very experienced i have done 6 builds on my own this is the latest at .39 ohms

i only use sony vtc5 18650 bought from my local shop and the lowest ive ever done is .24 ohms, ive read a lot of battery safety stuff on the forums here and know not to push the battery past its amperage and i don't plan to ever do that kind of sub ohming anyways.

i used tanks for about a month but it just wasn't enough so i made the switch to mechs pretty quick but i did a lot of research so i knew what i was getting into and wanted to be safe about it cause i heard some horror stories.
