Different color Waffles???

That is significantly darker. Maybe the nicotine used was older? I know it darkens as it gets older. Have you tried it? Does it taste the same?
had the same thing happen with tin box mint. first bottle was a little yellowish and the second bottle is a dark red. fortunatley, they taste the same.
It smells a lot weaker in comparison to my other 4 bottles. I can tell it's waffle though. And the taste is weaker as well. Also there's a pretty faint CINNAMON smell to it which is weird... I have another waffle bottle with that cinnamon scent to it. Hopefully it will just be one of those "freak" bottles that will turn back to normal after some aging. I've had oddball juices like that before. But never such a significant change in color before.Upinthehills said:
That's good, thank god. I'm just wondering if Geoff changed the recipe or something because one of the things that I absolutely loved about the Waffle liquid is that it is such a light, clear liquid. I don't feel all that comfortable vaping dark liquids if it can be avoided because they gunk up my attys a lot quicker. My camera made the colors a bit lighter... The one I got last week is really dark and tastes amazing. The one I got yesterday well.. Its really light and It tastes like the caramel syrup I put in my coffee sometimes. Im hoping the waffle flavor comes out in time, but my first bottle tasted great from day one. This new bottle tastes nothing like waffle.
Should I call TV? I don't want to be a pain.. I'm just a little worried. The new order was for plain waffles, and a doubler of waffles w/vanilla custard. The new waffles and the doubler are the same light color, and when mixed they have the weird chemical caramel flavor.The waffle doubler I got is also waffles with vanilla custard, But the bottle says "vanilla custard" and then under it it says waffle. I double checked my order, and I for sure ordered waffle with vanilla custard, not the other way around... Maybe thats why this batch tastes funny?

I don't know, it's really stumping me. And yes, the caramel statement isn't far off from how mine tastes. I'm confused though about which order of yours was different? I mean, you said the old one was the dark one and the new one is the different one being light in color? Mine seems to be the exact opposite, the ones I got last week were all really light and delicious but this new bottle I got is dark and strange... Just way too "off" in color for me to not be concerned about it. I know that when liquids come from a supplier that hand mixes fresh liquid per bottle you DO get SOME color variations from time to time, but none of my liquids have ever been this different from eachother. It's like night and day. So, I'm just saving my bottle for now and hoping maybe geoff will shed some light on this, I don't really want to bug him in case he may have changed the recipe or it's something harmless. I know he's busy.
Oh and btw- if this makes any difference...
I ordered my first Waffle bottles (the very light colored, delicious ones) before Tastyvapor's site had the bugs. I ordered the Waffles before when it had it's own category. That's when they were all the same and recently with this dark batch I had to order from the CYO menu and only put Waffle there and added notes that I didn't want any other flavors but plain waffle. So I'm wondering if he just gave me the plain base flavor instead of his Tastyvapor "plain waffles" mix. That's about all I can think of =\
I know, I was wondering why we had the same problem but the colors are opposite. I too, purchased my "yummy" bottle of waffles when it was a premium flavor. The new waffles and doubler are from the CYO. I asked for them to be made with butter and syrup, like the premium, but they taste nothing like it. Even the smell has a sick chemical note to it. I'm going to call in the morning...
I loved the coconut cream pie in one of the co-ops where the doubler was very light, almost clear. So next time I ordered some coconut cream pie liquid and doubler and both were very dark and it still has a weird metallic like taste. I understand how the nic could darken the liquid a little but haven't experienced that with any of my previous orders so not sure what could be causing it.
I haven't tried the coconut cream pie (and the word "coconut" insures that I never will) but for me, all TV liquids that have dairy in them have that weird metallic taste. They need extra time to ripen. I've had a couple that didn't get good for almost a month. But once they get there, they are great.
could it be a different batch of flavoring? what i mean is, could it be that the color of the flavorings that they use are different?

Its not the color change that bothers me, its that the taste is 100% different. I have a bottle of caramel apple from a co op that is clear, and the 30ml bottle I ordered from TV is BRIGHT red. They taste the same, so it doesn't bother me one bit My problem is that the new doubler and 1oz bottle I got yesterday is unvapable... Hopefully Ill get an explaination tomorrow.

that sucks! my last 2 orders of AC were fine until i mixed them with doubler, then i couldnt vape them.
Well it's been over 4 weeks and I tried it again earlier today with the same result. Plus the one I got in the co-op I tried within a couple days of getting it because at the time I didn't know you should wait.
Just got my plain waffle today. It's the same dark color as Xanax. But it taste great. I cant seem to put it down to try Butter Rum and Boston Cream Pie which came together. The waffle doesnt need any steeping time, the other two need some time to steep.
Ps. The TH for waffle is great. My usual vape is 16mg. This time i cut it down to 9.6mg and i still get the TH i am used to.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to see that the Waffle does not need to be aged at all. It tastes exactly the same from delivery to a month. When I first made that claim I was nervous that some people would come up with this long explanation of why it needs to be aged, lol!
And yes, the throat hit with Waffles is insane! I never EVER thought that it'd have such a nice throat hit, especially at 12mg! Amazing liquid. I'm really glad you like it as much as I do
