Different connector options

Ok so I just bought a 510 connector and a 510 shorty extension. I thought I'd need the extension but turns out I don't. So I'm wondering being that the shorty ext is 510 are you able to use it as a battery connector as well. Like I dunno on a flashlight mod or something.

I have done that with no problems. As long as you can make a good connection to them without destroying them, and the shape is not problematic, shorty extensions should work fine as either battery or atty connector.
