Still kind of new to this E-smoking thing but I'm an oppinionated person so I've already come up with some oppinions on this.

So I think it's silly to try and make these look like cigarettes beyond the fact that it's just kind of lame from an appearance point of view it's an invitation for trouble.

If it looks like a cigarette people are going to treat it like a cigarette. That's part of why I got a penstyle with a blue led. It looks like a pen with an blue LED not a cigarette.

Another thing is why put the LED at the end of the battery I can't see the damned thing when I'm smoking and it would be nice if the indicator that lets me know important things like if the battery charged or is the switch engaging was someplace I could see it with out having to look in a mirror.

My suggestion would be an illumiated ring around the device to provide the indicator particularly if one is going to stick with a cylindrical design. This would provide much more useful feedback to the user as well as differentiate it further from a cigarette.

I agree with you 100% Skex. To the point I am considering gluing a small piece of fiber optics to the end of my cig to be able to see it. I mean you can sort of see it in low light situations be in the daylight you can't. I like your ring idea and manufacturers shouldn't have any trouble doing that if they are made aware of the saleability of that type item. My DSE 801 penstyle has a Bright green led that shines through a pin hole on the auto switch section where the atomizer connects but it kind of makes you cross-eyed after a while because its too close up.
