I have always wanted to see Real Time with Bill Maher live, I so hate you right now. lol.

I went to Venice Beach and a guy was handing out tickets. They make you go through a metal detector and empty your pockets, no cell phones allowed. I opened up my PCC and showed security it wasn't a cell phone. Security asked- do they work? Yes- no cigs after 2 weeks using it.

As far as size, yes, if you must have a cigarette size device. But an LED can be provided with any PV, it's just a matter of where you put it. The LV/ZiMoshi use to have an LED that lit up when you pushed the button. I think they still make it that way.
Looks like you can have everything..........size, batts and led's.

So we like pretty colored lights eh?

I've got the coolest color-changing LEDS at work. 7 colors available in a slow fade, a fast fade, a strobing flash, and a fade/flash combo. Now just hold your horses- all I have are 5mm leaded LEDS. In other words they are WAY too big. Our e-cigs, at least the ones I've seen thus far, use a "chip" or "surface-mount" type of LED. Tiny tiny TINY little buggers. Almost impossible to install with a standard fine-tip soldering iron. Typically you use a hot-air SMT (Surface Mount Technology) workstation when working with SMT but I have managed, on a few occasions, to pull off a repair using my conventional iron and a jeweler's loupe.

I guess I'm gonna have to do some research and see if I can score some SMT color-changing LEDS huh? I'm not too hopeful as the color changers are actually multiple leds as well as a controller chip in a standard 5mm LED package. I *might* be able to fit a 3mm conventional LED- not sure. Not even sure if color-changers are available in 3mm... Guess I'm gonna have to rattle the bushes and see what runs out huh?

Definitely interesting though...

We'll see.

I love the LED's but I hate the ashcap cover, why make the tip look like a nasty ashy analogs even on e-cigs that don't look like analogs i.e. penstyles?? Can't we have a different tip option, perhaps replacement caps that are smooth and clear, gem caps would be nice too.
Getting rid of those plastic ash caps would certainly get my vote! .....they look cheap and nasty

I too would like a nicer looking LED tip cover. I was thinking something like a smooth piece of glass (or something shatterproof). Maybe tinted and convex so that it would look like HAL-9000. That would be so sweet. And maybe a switch to turn it on/off so you can go "stealth mode" when you need to.

I like my Blue LEDs (gf has green) for when I dont car who see it. At work I use my usb passthrough and when I wanna be stealthy (like in a movie theatre) I use my Janty battery (they dont have LEDs). Its alol about where you use them. I do think the plastic ash tip is stupid and have wondered why companies havent personalized the LEDs (with a logo or thier brand name). Also I think a multicolor LED would be cool or be slightly interactive (aka red for low battery or dead atomizer). Mayby that last part is asking for too much

Wait, why are we trying to attract less attention? They're not illegal, and the more people get used to them and start to understand them, the less problems we'll have. I'm gonna put one of those rotating, multi-colored dance lights people get for their bedrooms... if I can find one small enough.:pervy:

I agree!!!!! The less they look like a real cigarette, the more people might be curious and ask about them rather than just being annoyed by people with them.

i liked the led's when i was using suction activated batteries, the light told me i wasn't wastin' my time sucking and that the atty was indeed getting power. on the manual batt's and mods however, i have no desire for any lights. That's just me, but i'd much rather have my battery power go to the atty, and only to the atty.
