Quick question...im hoping somebody with experience can please help me out...I need to know how much distilled water to mix with Boba's to get it to vape good and consistent im my Evods, and Kanger T3s' s? Ive had some success with my iclear30, however "something" is missing from the taste. Worked great with my Anyvape Viva, but only for one fill! Then it started leaking. : (

So until my dripping attys arive, im just looking for a quick fix. Obviously I would like to keep as much flavor as possible.

Thanks In advance!:D

Take one of the flavor wicks out of your eVods. There's two flavor wicks then the coil. Take one out, leave one in and that should give u better flavor. Some ppl have taken out both flavor wicks. I haven't tried that yet.

As for distilled water, their old website says (and this is verbatim) this.
VG juice is too thick for my cartomizer/drip tip. What can I do?
A.) VG liquids tend to be extra viscous. If you are looking to thin out a liquid the best option is a few drops of distilled water. Other liquids may be used to thin out a liquid but none will retain the flavor and strength of a juice like a few drops per bottle of distilled water. You can also use: PG (propylene Glycol) and/or PGA (pure grain alcohol)

I put 10 drops in my 30ml bottle and it's wicking much better with my Evod.

I haven't had any problems with wicking in the evod. Did u try taking out one of the flavor wicks before diluting it?
hey Don, your talking about one of wicks on top of the coil right? I mean...the wick that runs throug the coil doesn't get touched...right?

Do you notice any difference in flavor doing this?

Just curious as to how it affects.

No difference in flavor or vapor production. And I didn't remove a flavor wick because I honestly don't want to ruin my head until I've got a good supply of backups. I've heard too much about flooding and gurgling after removing a flavor wick.

Right, bud. DO NOT take out that wrapped coil. That's your heating element/atomizer. There should be 2 wicks later next to each other on top of that wrapped coil. Sometimes it looks as if there's just one, but there's two. Take one of those out and u should be good to go. I haven't had any problems with wicking since I took out one of the wicks.

About the gurgling after removing a wick, I don't have that problem until my Protank (or evod) gets to about 1/4 full. A lot of clearomizer tanks have that problem. All I do to remedy it is to remove the bottom, wipe off the shaft and connection point and give it a quick blow into some vaper towel. Works just like the tank is full again. That's also the other remedy, when its gets to that 1/4 tank point, and u notice a gurgle, fill it up. My opinion, just mine, is that it has something to do with pressure. I've got that same gurgle with all the wicks in when the tank gets to that point. It just takes a minute to get it running again. Same thing as the eVod. Both do the same thing. I have a Protank with Boba's right now that is running flawlessly and I can barely see the juice at the bottom. Just had to do a quick blowout when I noticed that gurgle and it hasn't done it since. Hope this helps someone, and again, it's just my opinion and how it works for me. I'd love to upload a pic of my juice level right now, but don't know how to do it on here. Lol!

Is getting a burnt hit once in awhile a sign of not wicking right? I always assumed it was crud on coils with BB, but it doesn't seem to stay around like HB does (i know its crud with this juice). Just a hit or 3 may taste a little burnt every once in a while.
yup! That definitely a good indication it's not wicking properly.

You guys rock.

I felt like not f-ING around, so removed 1 wick and few drops of distilled in my small refilling bottle. Dry burned while I was dissassembled.

I can now get the volts up higher than I could previously and not burnt hits so far. I usually got a couple after refilling for some reason. None at all this time.

I can already tell this works much betters.

Not sure which one makes it work better, the wick or distilled but i have blown thru 1/2 a protank already and zilch for issues.

Next couple of tanks ill play around with only 1 change at a time to get a better feel. May come down to both working well combined though. Will also do with GJ too, seem to get the same issues there.

My evod works great on it without any burnt hits without modifying anything. Much better than the protank was working with it. I will try some from my distilled batch in there next refill to see if it will improve it any too. Although the evod for me is harder to suck the last gobs of goodness out of the tank with like i can with the protank. So maybe the change will make that work better in there.

Must be something in the flavorings that causes it to be finicky like that as ive been going to town on AVE's Rootbeer the past couple days without a single issue, never a burnt hit and can vape it down to the last drop in the tank every time. Its 100% VG as well, same delivery device. ....??? That stuff is really good too if you like rootbeer.

IMO, just remove one of the flavor wicks first before u dilute the juice. See if that works, then u don't have to mess with any flavoring. Like a person said above, the distilled water didn't really affect the flavoring, so I can't give my honest opinion of that. Obviously, do whatever works for you. I would just try the flavor wick first. But that's just me. I haven't diluted any of my juice and I haven't had problems. Again, can't repeat it enough, that's my experience and what works for me.

I haven't got around to my rootbeer. One thing I can say, it definitely has a potent smell. My package smelled like rootbeer when it arrived. I've had it in 2 different "steeping" boxes and in both of them, all u smell when u open them is rootbeer. Even the one that hasn't had the rootbeer in it for a week now. It's not a bad smell, just an overwhelming smell. I'll be trying it soon, tho. Again, good luck and do whatever works, man. Suggestions and recommendations never hurt, but u can take a certain piece from everyone and do it a totally different way, as long as u like it. Take care!

Oh yea Don, the rootbeer is potent! But not in a bad way at all. It reminds me of that first sip when cracking open an ice cold glass bottle of GOOD rootbeer. Aaahhhh.

Its got a "throat hit" but not like a irritate your throat type of hit some like, its more like the "carbonation" or maybe winter green? Kind of a simulated TH but in a good way.

Its choice. But if anyone doesn't care for rootbeer, i dont think they will enjoy it very much ;)

Wonder if we talk Ben into making a Birch beer? I cant get birch beer in FL anywhere....originally from PA and its common up there. I miss it.
