You could order some Smoktech pre-punched cartos with 3 holes and a decent pyrex tank from Phiniac and not have to worry about diluting it at all.

Its been my experience that clearomizers (and thats what all the Protanks, Vivi Novas, and Evods are) have a hard time with thicker juices due to their wicking system.

I vape Ave juices almost exclusively and given a choice Id take a well primed carto tank over any juice delivery device out there, especially with these juices. If you havent tried one yet you may be selling yourself and Boba's short.

Hey guys...I'm loving the suggestions. Thanks! I was down to my last 10ml of BB (fortunately I have 60ml on the way) and decided to add a little distilled water. I probably added more then most would suggest. I put 4 drops of distilled h2o in the 10ml's of Bobas, and filled up one of my Evods. It's been pure perfection IMO. No issues what so ever, and no noticeable flavor Chang that I can recognize.:vapor:

Yea, just to check back in...

Same here time2quit, i think it works great. I dont notice flavor drop.

I followed the recommended 10 per 30ml sort of....I just drop 1 to 2 drops in a full protank (2.5ml?) and shake (didn't want to dilute whole bottle and ruin).

Combo of this and the wick removal i dont get the dry hits any more unless i really chain it. Even then its minimal.

One think i do notice is the protank works better not full and not too low. id say about 4/5 full to 1/4 empty would be my estimation. Dont ask me why but it seems prime in that range. Too full i may get a dry hit, too low gurgles till you fix. Then after the fix its pure heaven to the last drop (like don says:) )..... sometimes. They can be a little finicky.

I would take an evod or other bcc over a carto any day. The smoktech cartos do work better than boges with vg though. If you really want to get the most out of your Boba's I would get an rda or a genesis

Have you tried carto tanks at all? Not a carto by itself ....a... carto....in ...a ...tank. :) Big difference in flavor between the two. Carto tanks eliminate those nasty dry hits from a carto by itself.

The EVODS and Protanks are worlds better than a ViVi Nova but IMO carto tanks have the best flavor and vapor output outside of dripping and well tuned RBAs.

Would also be willing to bet you that Ben, the owner of AVE, uses cartos and/or carto tanks since clearomizers have only enjoyed widespread popularity in the last year and a half or so.

He's been around as long as I have and theres something to be said for using your juices in the same delivery device as the person testing the juice.

A while back, I tried a Boge F-17 tank with dual punched cartos (Boge) although the flavor and convenience was nice, I just couldn't get the throat hit that I get from clearos.

With that being said...maybe I'll give them another shot.

Can you recommend a tank (that won't break the bank) and perhaps a link to some cartos that you know for certain perform well with Bobas?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah I used them a lot a couple years ago. I just always got a totally different taste with Boba's and gj when using cartos, even with the tanks. It wasn't a bad taste, it was just sweeter for me. I actually grew tired of bb and gj until I started using genesis attys and then it was back on full swing from there.

IMO a rebuilt/tuned kanger tank/evod rivals dripping for flavor. I used to love carto tanks but once I learned that the kanger design can keep up with 20w vaping, I've been sold. Kind of rediscovered my appreciation for the ego connector as well.

as for the OP, I found bobas, especially higher than 6mg nic levels, takes even heavy dilution quite well. it is a very flavorful juice. if you are using a high wattage device that drinks juice, diluting mellows out the experience. i found you can go maybe 30% with vg and the flavor was still good.

as for getting it to flow with a kanger core, you will definitely need to vary the amount of flavor wicking and flip the cup seal.

When AVE was going through the website rebuild and my stocks of Boba's ran low, I started mixing Boba's half & half with RY4. I believe Boba's is based on RY4, or the two are similar.....as mixing it yielded an unchanged Boba's, just not as strong. The RY4 I have is from Smokeless Image. It's a much thinner, lighter color juice than Boba's. The two mixed 50/50 produce a lighter tasting, but essentially unchanged, Boba's vape.

And as always, remember tastes are unique to each individual.
