Dirty Kanger T3 tank

This is one of my Kanger T3 tanks. I was using RAWR's "Dawn of Truth" in it, forgot about it, found it again half full, smelled it and only smelled the banana, so I thought I had some other juice in it and filled it up with Decadent Vapour's "Banana Split", found out that the tastes neutralized each other and it didn't taste anything anymore. Forgot about it for a week, then decided to clean it.

Took it apart, held the tank under very hot running tap water with some tongs for about 10 minutes, let it lay in a bowl of hot water for a couple of hours and then rinsed it off under some more of that same, hot running tap water for another 10 minutes.

They're still ugly as heck, and they reek of rotten bananas. Any tips to how I can get the banana smell out of it and maybe get it clear again?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I put some vodka in mine and shake it for a bit, rinse it with water afterwards.

Could I use cheap vodka, or do I have to use the good stuff?

Save the good stock for consumption

Some juices just etch the plastic on tanks, it's a problem. I had one do that just yesterday, but not as severe. Its ready for the bin. If you like your tanks clear and pretty, might want to try a glass carto tank from IBTanked for that juice.
