I recently started a thread questioning if T3 heads could be used in a MPT2 and was convinced by the majority of the replies that they do work - and they do because I tried it. I picked up a MPT2 from my local B&M and have been vaping on it for the past week with T3 heads in it. No problems at all. The only thing that I didn't like about the MPT2 was the small capacity of the tank.
Well as luck would have it, I had the opportunity to get a Kanger AeroTank for next to nothing. It's a long story but the end result was that the AeroTank cost me under $4 - how could I say no? I got the Aero in the mail this morning and loved it right out of the box. Great vape, good capacity, adjustable airflow - all good. And it doesn't look that bad with the 510/ego adapter on my ego V-V2 battery.
But ---- I don't know if it is because of the dual coil or the voltage that I was using, but I noticed that the battery seemed to drain faster than it has in the past using the MPT2 - or the T3S's for that matter. The Aero with the dual coil in it seemed to be it's best between 4.3/4.5 volts whereas I always used the T3 heads around 3.3/3.5 volts.
After doing some searching on ECF, I found a couple of posts that suggested the T3 heads would work in the Aero so I gave it a shot. After trying it out for a few hours with no leakage problems, I have come to the personal conclusion that the AeroTank works better with the T3 heads than with the dual coil heads that it comes with - at a lower voltage and less battery drain.
The great part is that I have a gazillion (exaggeration) T3 heads in my inventory.
Vape on my friends, vape on!!
