Today I received my be112 from bestecig, just by opening the box I saw both led on the battery flashing (was a little bit disapointed, my batt on my dse 901 are way less sensitive), but I was still happy to get it and having a bigger cart size was the point of buying this!

I imediatly put one battery on the charger and used it with the usb passtrought I ordered with it.... smoked all day long with it but I cannot get the same throat hit as my dse901, it's really weak.... tried it with a battery and it's the same thing....

The only way I've found to get a throat it is to drip onto the atomizer....
It's really deceiving as it will probably stay in my closet....

the be112 batteries use an electronic mic switch which has a very short cutoff. i know..ive had those batteries. the atomizers..on the other hand...are some of the best..long lasting and great vapor producers.

consider getting genuine DSE801 or RN4072 batteries...those have the mechanical auto switch with a longer cutoff...much more reliable...and they work with the BE112 atomizers

thx for your comment drave I knew that by ordering those I would get those ''easy to set off'' battery, even one atomizer was screwed on a battery that probably put power on the atomiser each time it was handled by someone (I didn't even tested this atomiser, will have to test it).

I don't really care about the battery, but it's more about the throat hit, yes i'm having good vapor but almost non throat hit....

Hope

HI I received my B112 today from Bestecig too, what kharma
I have always been a huge 901 user / and many many mods, w/ 901's atz I have used an 801 in the past and have never been a big fan just for that same reason, mild if no thoat hit, A good pal suggested the B112. cos it may produce different results, for my throat hit needs, It has not.
I am not in agreement that the 801 can be a throat hit machine The 801, for ME , has great cart/juice length, I mean, the 801 cart takes alot of juice, although, when the 801 is powered w/ greater battery strength, like a mod, or possibly the Prodigy, it does generate a good hit.
So, bottom line for ME, is it is not the 801 atomizer that is the problem, but the power of the battery pushing the 801

If the problem is the battery why it aint no better with the usb passthought??? I think I'm gonna check the voltage on the usb to see if it's 3.7v or 5v...

Just tested the usb passthrought and I've got 3.9V with no load on it (ie no atomiser on it)

Maybe I should dissect it and put a switch on it so i could get 5v from it....

just tried back my 901 and wow, a lot of throat hit!!

Kinda deceived that I just blew 75$ on this while I could spend that on a nice 510....

Trust me I feel your pain Thats is why I own so many different ecigs,
But after all , I ended up w/ my 510 and SD and a bunch of terriifc MODS, they are the only way you'll ever get that "HIT"

I ain't searching for ''massive HIT :D '' but I somewhat want a throat hit wich I was able to get with my 901 when the cart is full (after 10-15 puff it's going away). So I tought that the 801 with a bigger cart would solve this problem....

I'll try to discuss a bit with bestecig to know if it's possible to send it back or i'll put it on b/s/t. I'll either stick with my 901 or buy a 510.

I don't think it's defective because both atomiser aren't producing a lot of throat hit either on the passtrought or on batteries

It's the atomizer that many find to better than the stock 801 NOT the battery. They work best on a 5 or 6 volt PV. Using an 801 or a BE112 on 3.7 volt batteries is your problem.

+1 on above.

The BE112 atty really shines vaped somewhere between 4 and 6 volts.
I don't think the standard penstyle factory battery even gets close to a nicobox using a single 14500 battery in terms of warmth, vapor production and tastiness.
