WomanOfHeart--I value your opinion. I plan on staying only with 510 attys and cartos. Should I order a new sleeve, and a spring. Will it be a step up from EGOS if I do?

I would strongly suggest ordering a new sleeve and at least two of the copper hot springs. I would also suggest getting an extra button section. I only have one hot spring, but I use the extension sleeve more than the shorty. I vape this mod at all three voltages, although I've been using the 5 and 6V a lot more recently. This mod is DEFINITELY a step up from the eGo, and I find it to be incredibly satisfying no matter which voltage you choose.

DCC's work very well with this mod at both 3.7 and 5V. I have a DCC Liquinator on mine right now and I'm vaping it at 5V. Completely awesome in terms of flavor and vapor production!

Thanks for the input. I just order 2 coppor hot springs. If this works for the short tube, I'll order the long one and another switch. I probably would have ordered the tube and switch today, but Vaporjunction is out of stock on the switch.

Caroline Vapor has the Indulgence switch for $19.95 Indulgence Switch - Carolina Vapor

Why throw money away on a new mod when she already has a perfectly good one? With the improvements that WOH suggested she will have many more options with it than a REO. Now, I don't want you REO fans jumping all over me because I'm not saying they aren't sweet but so is the Indulgence and once she gets those springs and 6v sleeve and better batteries she will see that. I'll admit I'm not real happy with the performance of the 3.7v short tube but I'm sure that's because I'm using the batteries that came with the kit. I may get a REO some day but I sure as hell won't trade my Indulgence for one.

 My bad. You know how sometimes you read something and something else altogether sticks in your brain? I just did that. I read "Indulgence V2" and thought "Revolution V2" Naturally, I thought why the heck is someone messing with trying all of those things to improve a cheap juice feeder. The Indulgence, from all reports, is a perfectly respectable tube mod. I am sorry and embarrassed that I sounded like a snot.

No prob. Even if she was talking about a Revolution V2, you are entitled to your opinions...as long as they are in agreement with mine. :p

Hey folks,

I noticed that the switch on these seems to create a power loss. The spring used in the top of the switch adds about .5 ohms to the overall switch resistance. So I soldered a bit of copper wire to the nipple at the top of the switch, threaded it through the spring far enough to make contact with the metal contact inside the switch when everything was fully re-assembled. I managed to drop the overall resistance from .7 ohms down to .2 ohms. A .5 ohm drop doesn't seem like much, but I'm definitely getting more vapor production out of it at 3.7v using a dual-coil 1.5 ohm carto. Ideally, using a piece of copper wire isn't the best of solutions. So would anyone happen know where I can source better switch springs, or a completely copper switch that will work on the Indulgence v2?
