Among all my new toys,mi included the smoke tech kick clone. Shouldn't have bothered.

i wanted it in case the production from my carto tank was too light from staring battery power. Well, it's a bit light under 3.7 volts, ute just dandy when the battery is at 3.7 or more.

with the kick clone in, power does indeed go back up, but the rattlesnake is back! I thought I killed that darned snake when I stopped using my vamo. The PWM on the kick clone is slow enough that I might as well just go back to the vamo.

no matter. Lots of other new toys that seem to be working beautifully. I'll probably end up listing it on the classifieds at some point.

I have a fasttech kick, and it really seems to depend on what atomizer you're using it with. Personally, I've only used the kick with 2 of them, a Protank II and a Rocket kayfun clone. The Protank sounds like a rattle snake is actually in the tube, to the point I almost think I feel the mod vibrating. But with the rocket, it's not even noticeable.

Having now used it with the Rocket, I believe the rattlesnake effect is nothing more than noise, and doesn't realistically effect the vape.

....despite what anyone says after me. ;)

In direct competition for crxess' "Guess this is just a Rant and the kick actually works?" 'Quote of the Day'... so far. ;-)

It really does not, despite the debates of the elitist. Claims of hot/cold/hot/cold are from those with no understanding. Even a glass top stove cycles the heat to maintain temperature.
I have little doubt those same people regularly use microwaves Pulsing energy to cook:D

In 5......4.........3........2......

8 bucks shipped. Truth is I have no real need for the device but wanted to try it.

Exactly. $8.33/Free Shipping. Works as adverstised.

I've built a couple atomizers with using the kick in mind...more battery life, adjustability, etc, etc, but always ending up rebuilding for unregulated. Just finished recoiling the Rocket to 1Ω.

My Vape Will Not Be Restrained! ;)

I purchased the Evolv kick 2, a few months ago, and am totally happy with it. Have it dialed at max output of 15 watts, and it provides a great consistent vape for all my standard ohm builds. Now if they'd just come out with a kick30, I'd be a happy vaper. lol

No rattlesnake from the kick 2, just smooth consistent vape.

I have been using a smok kick for about a week and I have found that I can change that rattlesnake by improving the ground connection. It nevers goes away but becomes more, and less pronounced. Try a piece of business card as a shim opposite of the ground pin, and if you have it in a cheap mod like me, rough up the inside with a bit of sandpaper.
I personally chose the clone because I could shop for zmax and the like for the price of an evolve kick.

Sent from my subsidized tracking device.
