I just picked up the new Smoktech Natural Telescope and problems already, the bottom inside the unit seems too wobbly and the nut inside looks like is distorted, ill post a pic in a few minutes, also the firing button is WAY too hard too press, not liking this thing at all. Notice how the filler piece thta the pin goes tru,its not uniformed round.

From a few videos i seen on utube, that off set metal part where the center pin and plastic meet seems too be normal, strange its shaped that way.I found a solution too the stiff firing button,i have a spring from a broken smok tely button i will replace it later, otherwise it seems too work ok,ill sand down the contacts later too,but i feel when buying anything,we should not have fiddle around like this.

The components of the button and contacts are ALL able to be disassembled. You need narrow needle noses and two flat head screwdrivers. I have mine modified to my liking. All contact points are sanded to brass and polished with a stone, the firing spring has been cut to make for a much easier throw, and I cut about 1/8th an inch off of that center rod to allow for the use of larger sized 18650s.

Takes some fiddling, but what do you expect from a mod out of china?

Because it's cheap and it works...that's why.

It works, but not all the time, you take your chances and no long time warrantys, you do get what you pay for.The Provari types are built with precision and a great amount of attention too detail, the USA mods and Greece are works of art and like jewelly and collectors items.,not the China stuff.Ive spent so far $55 for the Vamo,$50 Smok Tele and $60 for the Smok Nat Tele, almost enuff for a Provari, but i have lots of back up and variety,so its all a trade of in the end.

Ive had one working great for 6 months and I have had no problems, if anything, mine was very tight and I had a hard time taking it apart. Maybe now they are sending them loose since almost everyone takes them apart and mod them right away. Im sure like someone posted, just tighten everything up with a screwdriver. Its a simple , inexpensive, very good looking mech that does what its supposed to and pretty darn good looking.

It turns more heads than my more expensive devices, here is a photo of mine, disregard the gap in the mid section, took care of that by adjusting the posts after wards.

Why not contact the vendor and get a replacement. These are great mechs, understand they are mass produced and you ended up with one the assembly got lazy with.

This

I've had mine about 3 months, and use it ALL day, EVERY day. I tweaked a few bits inside, and it works wonderfully. I drop it (more than I'd like to admit actually) and besides a minor scratch here and there, not a single problem.

Anyone who says it's not worth $50 are either vape snobs (vain) or don't know what they're doing.

Egg-freakin-zacktly. I got mine off the classies, and its my goto vape during work or at the river/beach. Don't get me wrong, I love my paps and nzonic, but there are places I don't take those, and honestly my Natural works just as well as both of them.

had a connection issue that made the battery fire on its own after the 2nd week or so, but been smooth sailing since then. occasionally requires adjusting the contact point with an atty, but that's not a big deal. great value, and super durable.

anyone have a good, easy DIY option for locking the firing pin? can't get a rubber band to stay in place and also be easy to remove...thanks.

You can lock the button on your Natural by turning the knurled nut beneath the button counterclockwise.

First off, the connection problem is not a problem with the natural. It's the "floating pins" that some RBA's use. I had this issue (before I learned how to properly work the natural; adjust the positive pin) on my AGA-T. I hate to say, it's a user error, not an equipment error.

As for the firing pin lock, Rule62 has it right on. It's built in, no need for silly rubber bands or extra doo-dads
