How do you fully disassemble an Aqua rba? I have everything disassembled until the deck. I have the negative post removed, but how do you remove the positive post (with the rubber insulator right underneath)? I am fully disassembling it because i need to clean it out. Also the draw on the Aqua feels kind of tight, so i think the air holes may be obstructed somehow.

You'll need to unscrew the collar nut from the post and pull it out the bottom. It'll come out as one full assembly (read: positive pin, plate, and post). Once that's out you can push the plastic bushing out by poking it through the negative post hole and it should pop right out.

I drilled out my air holes in the top of the deck as well as the side (joined the two holes together using a 5/32 bit). I even took it to the next step and bored out the plastic bushing to join the two air hold chambers together. I get WAY BETTER air flow now, with the only downside being that you can see the bushing through the hole on the side because it's so big.

I read a post here someone's airholes were not completely punched out when received.they said the inside were punched but the outside of each hole the metal was still attached and they had to remove it by hand and then sanded each down. That could be the same problem you are experiencing with yours??
