I can say with complete certainty that my 510 has gone where no 510 has gone before... Or should for that matter.
It was the last day of the job and the rig inspection from the water line down was about complete. I was on the barge tending my divers gauges when these 2 clowns decide to wrestle and knock both mine and my bosses walkies into the Gulf of Mexico along with my red bull and my puffer case. Puffer case holds 2 fully charged 510s and 2 extra carts. AWESOME! The red bull and walkies are negligible for obvious reasons, but my 510s sitting at about 3000fsw is what really pisses me off. I complained to my foreman and he said there was nothing he can do about it because it wasnt company property and it wasn't a high value item. ($400 or more) I cant beat these guys asses because its a felony to assault someone at sea and they leave on an earlier flight. I think I might just go back to analogs because I cant afford to throw down $60 right now to replace my lost puffer.
P.S. The diver claims he saw all 3 items shooting to the bottom at about 225fsw, I think hes full of it, because he was on the other side of the rig, but who knows. They were both docked for the cost of the 2 walkies and "let go".
