The Bloog is intended for use by those above the legal smoking age. The Bloog electronic cigarette is not intended for non smokers or by children, pregnant women, women breast feeding, or persons with or at risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, taking medicine for depression or asthma, or are sensitive to nicotine.

I am curious what possible side effects vaping could have on a person with asthma. I couldn't imagine it is any worse than smoking analog cigarettes.

If he smokes cigarettes cigars pipes etc switching to a PV may not be a bad thing. I was a heavy smoker without filters and smoked all the above. I would have to spit out a lot of nasty rubbish from of my lungs. Now I vape a lot and have no need to spit at all. As I understand restricting the airway by smoking and having asthma is a bad combination. I have no medical background at all just my own body to judge by. I say if he smokes now a PV may well help. Remember some folks have a reaction to PG some to VG and some to flavours. I react if I have to much nicotine by going red in the face and feeling it in the top of my head. Keep the inhaler handy if he gives it a go and have some responsible people close to hand. Thats my take and I say again I HAVE NO MEDICAL BACKGROUND AT ALL...

I can not comment officially wish i could but i can't...our disclaimer is to protect us.... personally I would suggest him talking to his doctor first and talking to others on the forum who have asthma and switched to vaping and make his own personal decision.

He does smoke (not too much) and is trying to quit. He wants to try vaping, but obviously has some helth concerns. Thanks for the input as always.

My girlfriend spoke to her doctor and nurse who helps you to stop smoking and both had no knowlege of PVs. Guess it is a different scene in the states. They both asked for feedback as to how she is getting along. I'm sure she will tell them she feels better and lees out of breath and has cut down on analogs a lot. Please post when you have some news as I find this an interesting case indeed.
