Discolored tank

I've just discovered that my root beer is turning my tank opaque, does that leak chemicals into the juice?

Yes, plastic compounds will leach into your juice from polycarbonate tubing. As someone with a longstanding interest in environmental health issues, that's why I won't use clearos and tanks made from polycarbonate. I suggest checking out the DCT polypropylene tank tubes at MyVaporStore.
