Disgusting Menthol taste

How can I get rid of this taste? I got my blu in (I have REAL PVs as well so don't start flaming) and I tried the magnificent menthol. However, now everytime I try a carto I still taste the remnants. I've dripped on it for hours and it still tastes nasty...like burnt metnhol coffee. I actually almost puked this morning when I hit it after waking up. Time to cut my losses and buy a new one? Thanks in advance.

I looked all over for an answer, but it seems most posts about cleaning attys deals with functionality, and not taste. If it does talk about taste, its the burnt chemical taste, which I am not experiencing.

Nero--Menthol, once used in an atomizer, absent drastic harmful chemical methods, really never goes away. I learned a long time ago that if I am going to use a strong menthol, then I designate an atomizer for its use.

So your best bet is to just chalk it up to a learning experience and use a new atomizer and move on.
