Disney Acquires Marvel Entertainment

Not sure how many Marvel Entertainment or Comic Geeks there are out there like me? But this is BIG NEWS.Just today The Walt Disney Company agreed to acquire Marvel Entertainment for a totlal of cash and stocks valued at approximatly $4 billion dollars.....Not quite sure what this will mean for all of the Spider-man,X-men and Iron-man fans out there....but I sure wouldn't mind seeing Wolverine fighting Mickey Mouse!! Perhaps Disney can help save the E-Cig world as well.....Steamboat Willie could become Vapor Willie!

I don't see how the two could mix. I hope they did it just to make profits and let the Marvel Masters continue to do what they do. I want to see Spiderman 4 outperform The Dark Knight ..... but I don't see that happening if they now require Peter Parker singing like all them other Disney movies. LOL.

Miramax was also owned by Disney I believe and brought us Pulp Fiction and other great movies....So there is still hope.It will depend on how tight of a leash that want to hold.I do see Kids(and some adults)benefiting from the solid animation that Disney is known for(ala Pixar)! The current animation for Marvel films is quite lacking and needs an upgrade IMO!!The Wiz!
