Well, I get them for $.29 each at Tractor Supply, so I just buy new ones as needed. I just take care to not get stuff on my fingers and then the syringes so they last a good while.
Ditto--there and another local farm store here called Agway both carry a wide selection from 3ml to 60 ml. Agway gets the nod on longer needles although I like some of the syringe choices better at Tractor Supply. Either place I can walk out with a small bag full and change back from my $20

But--to the OP, that's a good idea..thanks for passing it along.
