As the title says im looking for a do-it-yourself 26650/2x18650 box mod kit for a dna chip.
Not just the enclosure, but with wires, buttons, contacts, instructions(would be nice not necessary) and all that jazz.

No total kits you can go find parts on diff sites. Here is a site that has a box made for Design 1 - 26650 - Gripper by jonniemac on Shapeways. Kind of expensive. you still need the contacts for the battery and other stuff. Here is a Dual 18650 sx350 60 watt unit i built. But you will at the very least need electronic stuff like a soldering iron, heat shrink wire stripper etc. Will also need a drill files etc. If your interested you can PM me and i will figure out a way to get you the drawings and parts I used. Reason I'd go for the SX 350 is you only need one button as it uses a gravity switch to change settings and it's upgradable. Here is what it looks like. 20140812_005337.jpg20140812_005358.jpg. Using the metal boxes I found the thing gets way to big.

Kind of hard to read what i said at the end. I found going 26650 just was not as big an advantage and it got big. I have a plan for a 100 watt triple 18650 when the chip gets released for us.

I was just looking at the sx 350 chip, 60w for 75$ not bad, plus the gravity sensor appeals to me.
how does the upgrade part work?
Also with the dna30 chip and sx 350, can you run those with stacked batteries? Wouldnt that be more efficient anywhos?
Problem with that chip though is between the birthdays and Christmas season i won't have the money for one till after the holiday season...
Maybe ill get the DNA 30 chip from FT now, then get the sx 350 later maybe then it'll be up to 150w lol
