Could someone please give me a simple formula (Drops please) to make a 5ml bottle of carmel(20% flavor) 50/50 at 15% so I can compare with mine. My base is 1000 ml 48 mg (4.8% nic mixed with 100% pg) and flavor is PG from PA. What i mix tastes like crap and not sure if I'm using the calc. right. Using juice me up. Thanx in advance! Getting very frustrated and need a pro to help. -Nate

That might be a little bit of the problem. Do you know how many drops make a ml with your pipettes? I mix in drops all the time but I know that 36 drops = 1ml for one of the pipettes I have. Not so for the other style.

I would suggest, at least for your base and secondary flavors, to calculate and measure in ml other than drops. It is more accurate.

Also, as others have pointed out, mixing 20% caramel may be a bit (by a lot) too strong and that may be giving you the DIY blues. In DIY, MORE does not always = Better.

Furthermore: To add a bit of depth to your caramel flavor I would suggest a 1-2% secondary flavor like Bavarian Cream, sweet cream, any vanilla, ect + a long steep and you will start making magic.
+ a couple drops of EM at the end makes everything blend and adds a touch of sweetness.
