People have said, frozen nic still good from 2009. So its probablly unknown how long it will last in the freezer. I don't think it will get any cheaper than it is now, may, get much more expensive. So, another 500ml on the way. At $64 after 20% off= .128ml . BUT, thats 100mg/ml. Divide that by 5 to get my 20mg/ml = .0256ml

This is what I just got from Wizard labs, shipping was free:
100mg Nicotine solution - 500ml
- Carrier Base Liquid: 50% PG - 50% VG NS-100MG-500ML 1 $56.99 $56.99

Yes I know. Bought 500ml from Wizard, and only 120 from RTS in Nov. I don't mind spending $7 more for Made in the USA. I want them both to stay in business. But IM good now with nic for 2.7 to 4.5 years.
I wish it was practical to buy PG by the gallon, but for me at 36ml of PG per 100ml batch, that would last 9.5 years at 3ml a day. I can't find anything longer than a shelf life of 2 years.

Didn't know CVS carried VG at all. I usually buy my VG from WM. The consistency is super syrupy. Is it HUMCO @ CVS V?

It is CVS quality  Sold as pure glycerin, USP. Glycerin 99.5% anhydrous as a skin protectant. It is good stuff, others here use it and like it (that is where I got the recommendation).

As for the 2 year expirary, I call BS. That would be assuming I am opening it and slathering on my skin with dirty, nasty hands and the worst possible storage scenario. It is bacterostatic. Since I keep mine in a nice cool, dark closet and pour it into sterilized cylinders, I am going to use that bottle until it is empty or I notice a change in it. The bottles are clear, so if I notice a floater, odor or color change I think I can afford to dump it. It is easily replaceable. By buying it there on the 2 for 1 sales, I have more than I need any time soon anyway.

ETA: I am going to go out on a limb and assume it was made by either Humco or Proctor and Gamble and sold in bulk packaging by CVS. Humco bottles look exactly the same as the CVS though. I would think Humco gets it from P&G though.

EDITED AGAIN TO ADD: my expiration date is 6/17. well over 2 years!

Hey, I know that stuff. I bought a few bottles to make Fog Juice for my fog machine this past Halloween. Wow...good ol VG. The possibilities are limitless. :)

And you didn't vape any?!! It's the STUFF!

Ya know, I hate to admit my naivety but I didn't even connect the two. But now that I know it's VG and safe for vaping, rest assured I will give "The Stuff" a try. I'll probably keep most of it for the fog machine as I'm pretty well stocked up on VG but it's good to know in case of emergencies. Thank you for enlightening me. :)

Just use the first in, first out next time you need some for the machine. VG is VG, whether in your vaporizer or fog machine. Have you seen the video of the guy who put flavored, nicotined juice in the fog machine and vaped it? It is seriously over the top vaping! ;)

I have to disagree that "VG is VG". I want to use only the purist grade I can find.. Not manufactured for a fog machine or PG made to feed to livestock. Sorry but I spent too long putting nasty chemicals from cigarettes into my body to start all over doing the same thing with VG and PG from questionable sources. No kosher grade for me!

Wait, how come you get an expiration date of 2017 and I don't? Just bought a quart of VG from Essential Depot 12-1-2012 with expiration date 11-31-2014.
Looking at a Specification for Propylene Glycol USP/EP, from Dow Deutschland,Stade [Germany].
Shelf life; 24 months
Storage; it is recommended to store the material in closed containers below 40 C

I do agree with that point. Pharmaceutical grade, from a pharmacy, is good enough VG for me. I source my PG from the online vendors.

Not being critical... but do you even know how to read an MSDS sheet? Or know what Kosher is?

Ya might want to compare MSDS sheets; assuming that your vendor even provides one!
My vendor is Wizard Labs and they provide more documentation that does Walmart, CVS, Hobby Lobby or your friendly tractor supply company! I DO know that I sent 55 years putting many unknown chemicals into my body every time I took a drag from a cigarette. I also know that I do NOT want to buy my vaping supplies from a tractor company or from Walmart, etc. I DO buy my vaping chemicals from a certified lab which tests their nicotine, PG and VG.
