Hi everyone,

I've been vaping almost a year now and have been lurking here for almost as long. I've come to the point though that I need some direction in selecting flavors to make my own juice. I am partial to two flavors from two separate sellers and have no idea how to concoct anything close to theirs. I prefer strictly tobacco flavors with a mild nut flavor and a caramel/vanilla mix. So, I prefer a touch of sweetness. Unfortunately, I've spent a lot of $$ on tobacco flavors that tasted (as I refer to them) like ragweed. HORRIBLE and bitter.

So..LOL..my question is what tobacco flavor and vanilla and/or caramel flavoring would work best for what I'm describing? Is three different flavors too many to add? All I know is that these are the basic ingredients that I find most tasty. Any links/suppliers/product recommendations you can provide :) would be most helpful. Oh and if it helps..I vape on an ego twist with a mini vivi tank..so too much vg gets goopy. THANKS!

Wizard Lab is great advice, along with downloading the "eJuice Me Up" calculator. it comes with a ton of receipts to get you started. I'm new to DYI - 2 to 3 months, and am still learning. I haven't considered buying any mixed juice, and haven't made a un-vapable batch yet, some better than others. the advice to read, read, read was best! I thought I wouldn't consider anything but strong tobacco blends 2 months ago, I'm heavy into fruit flavors right now... no tobacco for a week. DYI'ing is a blast into itself!!!

:offtopic: Flavor strengths vary from vendor to vendor so be mindful of which brands you are mixing. For instance, Capella is by far the easiest concentrate to use since their flavors can usually be mixed at 15 to 20% in a single flavor mix. OTOH Flavor Arts is a very strong concentrate and any of their flavors mixed at 20% will knock your socks off. This is important to know because ejuicemeup calls for specific vendors in their recipes and it's a good idea to use the vendor they suggest in any of their recipes. Also some concentrate vendors use sweetner in their flavors and some do not.

Very good to know, lulu! I like MFS, USA Light (nice and mellow) and RW Vapors Red Box..it's got the added Stevia but also has a richer flavor..so I add maybe half a ml to 2 or 3 ml of the light.

Are you mixing vendor ready-made ejuice or are you talking about mixing your own ejuice from scratch?

vendor-ready (same nic levels) and that's one of the reasons why I want to do it myself.

I see. In that case my post is totally off topic. I thought you were going to make your own with PG, VG, nic and flavoring. My mistake. I don't think ejuicemeup will have any value for you.
