We all know that the true test of a supplier's customer service is not a perfect order, it's how they handle things when they don't go exactly according to plan. I know that Dawn and George must have very few of these instances because I've never seen mention of them on the forums, but we all know that something is bound to happen eventually. That's when a supplier has the chance to really shine.
I've been ordering from Dawn and George at diyflavorshack.com for almost a year. They impressed the heck out of me on my very first order. When they tried to ship it, the USPS click-n-ship thing said that my address didn't exist (it happens from time to time). Dawn gave me a call right away to verify my address and George made a special trip to the post office to mail the package manually. They went the extra mile and I was really impressed.
I ordered from them without a year without a single issue, but on my last order I got a bottle of juice that was a little bit off. It was a bottle of a flavor that I have ordered several times, so I knew it wasn't a subjective taste issue. I emailed Dawn about it on the 19th and she got back to me that afternoon. She said she was going to mix a fresh batch and send me a new bottle. I figured it might take a little while because they hand mix everything and are super busy, so I was really surprised when my replacement bottle was in my mailbox on the 23rd. To top it all off, they more than made it up to me (don't want to go into how because I don't want to set a specific precedent. That's up to Dawn and George). This was really not necessary, but incredibly nice of them.
Dawn and George are wonderful people and really know how to run a business. They are always quick to return emails and phone calls, friendly, and their products never disappoint.
I take recommendations very seriously, and I feel 100% comfortable recommending DIYFlavorShack.
