Does anyone know why, out of most the flavors from various suppliers such as flavourart and lorann, coffee and butterscotch and others just taste all the same like chocolate but when you smell them it smells like the flavor it says it is but when you vap it it tastes like chocolate.. chocolate chocolate chocolate.. Does anyone know why? is it something wrong with my taste buds?

I don't think the flavoring has chocolate undertones (your talking about DIY, right? nicotine liquid plus flavor plus Pg or VG equals the finished product), I'm talking about the nicotine juice itself (unflavored). I noticed flavor undertones with the Totally Wicked nicotine juice I was using when I first tried to DIY. Maybe the stuff you are mixing with, although it says it's unflavored, has flavor undertones like my TW stuff did.

you could also be overloading your senses if you try them at the same time. I usually have to mix then wait a day or 2 before I start tasting otherwise all of them taste the same.

Yea I wonder if maybe that is the case but then the following day which is today I try the juice I mixed "Butterscotch" yesterday and sure as hell it taste like chocolate.. :( I love chocolate but I wanted butterscotch :(.. I mean is there anyone else out there that has tried loranns butterscotch and noticed that it tastes like chocolate more then anything else? Same thing with coffee from flavorart. But another thing is that pumkin taste like cinnomon.. It seems as though all the flavors either have a strong taste of chocolate or cinnamon or clove..

On pumpkin and cinnamon - pumpkin, in and of itself, has very little flavor, so it's difficult to clone. The flavor most people are familiar with is the result of mixing the pumpkin vegetable with cinnamon, cardamom and occasionally a bit of clove. Likely, the LorAnn flavor is created with a combo of these tastes to equal a pumpkin pie-like flavor.

loranns butterscotch does taste like a bitter choc to me. I don't have much trouble with fa coffee but to some I can see where it may taste like choc a bit. maybe try adding some vanilla? is it pumpkin or pumpkin spice you are using? pumpkin spice will have a strong cinnamon flavor.

It was pumkin.. But tastes more like pumpkin spice as spice being the cinnamon and without the pumpkin. LOL Basically cinnamon.. Oh well I was trying to go for a pumpkin spice for a Halloween juice but its just cinnamon. Maybe I should try draino and be done with it.. LOL

You see I think that is exactly what is going on here.. There just isn't enough of that pumpkin taste so maybe add some cardamom and clove to it then huh? I hadn't thought about that.. I just know it has too much cinnamon by its self
