hello!

i wana share my question with you.

i have a lot of DIY flavors (FA , Atmos Lab,After8)
its around 20 flavors.

some of i have to use for a long time (maybe 1-2 years)
i didnt found myself spend a lot of flavoring on my DIY mixes, but i always want to try something new..so i buy constantly new flavors.

is there any problem with them?will the expire at estimate date?or i can use it a while after exp.date?
i store them in a cupboard , dry and without sun place.room temperature 22'C maybe.

what can happen if i use one of them if it is expired?
it will be just bad taste?or i will have health problems?

nicotine / vg base is always fresh.i manage to vape almost 1 month after purchase (300ml per month :D)

In my opinion synthetic flavoring in PG should be good for three years at least and probably more. PG has a shelf life of five years so if the flavoring is PG based like most are I wouldn't worry about bacteria for five years. Organic (meaning from something that once lived) might go bad quicker. I have a lemon extract flavoring that is about two years old now and I'm still using it. Ingredients are water, ethyl alcohol and natural (organic) flavoring. The alcohol probably keeps bacteria from multiplying and I also only use it at 1 1/2 drops per 10 ML. I have not had an issue with it, but I think it is losing its flavor lately. The bottle is almost empty so I will probably replace it next time I make a flavoring order.

My main flavorants are from Lorann, TFA and Capella all in PG. I don't know what their expiry date is, but I'm not worried about these. I use them within a year but being synthetic and in PG I would be comfortable using them for three years anyway or until I had an issue. IMO the issue would be loss of flavor before they would make me sick, but that's just my opinion and I'm not an expert at this.
