Has anyone here used any of the products from vaporshots.com? I am relatively new to diy e juice but have made a few batches. All of the products I have used to date have been from vaporshots. If anyone has used them I would like to know your thoughts about how they stack up against other suppliers. My newest order will contain the items needed to make a 30/70 blend and I am shooting for 30% flavoring (all 30% of the PG will be flavoring).

Yes, I've used quite a few of them. They get many of their flavors from the same place TFA does but also create their own, typically the fruits though they've been working the tobaccos quite a bit lately. They're steadily working to improve their line up.

They emphasize pure flavors with the crap like stabilizers that are not required for e-cigarettes removed so they tend not to clog or build up badly on your atomizer. I've been doing business with them for about a year and a half and am very happy with them.

They also used to have some from Flavor Arts. If it has VS as the vendor I believe that it's one of the ones they've at least tweaked to remove additives. They'll have a VS on the name.

I just looked and all of them I could find now have the (VS) on the name so it looks like everything they stock has been customized.

Sweet. Ima weirdo wit this DIY stuff these days. Collecting uh pretty large amount of flavors. Did not want to end up with duplicate flavors. Thanx man. They don't seem to have a lot of options like others. But pretty highly rated on quite uh few items they do have. The cake batter smells off the hook. The bottles I have say vapor shots.

Hey guys,
thanks for the replies. Like I said in the original post VS is the only vendor I've used to date and I have been pleased with them. My next order will last quite awhile since I tend to order in greater quantities as it lowers the cost ratio. For my next creation i'm planning to try a 30/70 blend with 24mg nic/cc using 15% blueberry, 7% caramel, and 8% of the vaporice mint. Any suggestions on tweaking the flavor %'s would be welcomed.

I'm pretty new to this DIY thing as well. There are a couple threads out here (sorry don't have immediate link available) that talk about the different percentages recommended for different types of flavorings. Some are as low as 3-5% TOTAL flavoring. I'm a little skittish at going too strong at first - I've been making my flavors on the light side and seeing if I need to jump them. I don't think I've done anything greater than 20% (but I'm not being terribly accurate with my measurements - I figure my tastebuds will tell me if I'm doing o.k.) I also use a 50/50 base, so I'm not as VG heavy as you are seeking.

The "iced caramel blueberry" sounds tasty tho :)

I picked up a few VS flavors to play with and started in the 2-5% range and got nothing as far as flavor so I emailed Vapor Shots asking for their recommendations for starting points. Here is their reply...

We generally recommend starting around 20-25% depending on how sensitive your palette is. If you can taste very easily, then go around 20% if you have a hard time tasting things you may want to push it up a little to the higher end.

The natural extracts in these flavors make the final flavor truer to the taste but lighter “tasting” and therefore you will have to use slightly more than if you are using an all-artificial flavoring. However, the taste will be much better and you won’t have the issues of atomizers clogging, liquid in the tanks turning to a used motor oil look and consistency with the flavor disappearing halfway through the tank.

Anyone have some solid percentage points to work with their products before I really up my numbers? I tend to be on the skittish side as well and am not rich, although their price point is pretty good.
TIA
