Hello :) Spend some time here DIY E-Liquid and do plenty of reading. Different flavors steep for different amounts of time. The bubble gum I diy takes a day or two, while my chocolate takes about 2 weeks. I really like to diy, and it saves a lot of money. There's a local store where I can buy organic non GMO vegetable glycerin and I know exactly what is in my e liquid.

I've been making my own juice now for about a month. It's really not that difficult, but there are bound to be some errors. One thing I will say, you should find the link on conducting a titration on your nic liquid if you buy any 100mg/mL. It's worth the time and a few extra bucks to be certain of your nic concentration. If it's too low, no harm, but if it's too high that could be bad.

Many juices you can vape right away and will get better, stronger with age. its not mandatory to steep before vaping it.

just start out by making a single flavor Vape instead of trying to mix exotic combos at first, see what you like taste wise and then maybe mix two single flavor juices you already made and see how it tastes.

start out making 5ml batches.

don't make a 100% VG it will be too thick, wont taste very good as flavor will be weak.
start out with a base liquid od 50/50 at what ever Nic content you desire if any.

Curious, what's the cost of an initial setup? I've been thinking about doing this as well. Is getting a starter kit the way to go? I'd like to start small. How do you like it so far?

I started with a 120 ml bottle of 48 MG/ML nicotine in 50/50 VG/PG base, 120 ml of VG, 120 ml of PG, half a dozen flavors I thought I could work with, a blunt 3 ml syringe, a bunch of 15 ml bottles from juices I had used up and the mixing calculator, 'eJuice Me Up'. Cost me around $60 I think. You can spend a lot more to start out, but until you know if this is for you I agree starting small is the way to go.

For sure read the DIY forum here and ask questions if there is anything you are unsure of. Remember also, what you put in your juice is going to be inhaled and some of it will end up in your bloodstream. Never put anything in there you're not sure is safe.

I've been doing this for over a year and love it.

There are some youtube videos quite helpful. I agree that Nic concentration is important, so you need to find a e-juice calculator online. I add about 5-10% of flavors depends on the brand (some flavors are concentrated, expensive but worth it, others seems cheap but you need to use a lot more). I hope it helps.

Really depends on how much you spend. Okay kind of mean. I am currently using a VW mod at home, ego's when at work as they fit in my pocket. It can be embarrassing when someone wants to borrow my pen, oh well. Still love eRoll's but as stated in many reviews you have to fill them often, way to often. Initial plan was to cut back on smoking then reduce nic intake. I have to admit vaping may hang around with me for a while. Cost for me including things I may not buy again is still less than what I was spending on cigarettes, so kind of free with cash left over. No big regrets yet, carefull with getting to many supplies for any one toy. If you do not play with it supplies are a waste.
