I have been looking around on-line and trying to figure a way to save some money, but not sacrifice quality on my e-juice. My question is I found 12mg Unflavored e-liquid Nicotine on ecigexpress.com can I just buy flavoring, mix and start vaping with that e-juice? Can I just take that 12mg unflavored add some drops of flavoring and go to town? I have done a little research on DIY and a lot of people are mixing their base and adding nicotine and flavor. Is this what I am buying only without flavor? You can choose your base and I was going to go with a 50/50 base and buy a bunch of favors, then just get recipes and mix in flavor. Just curious and any info would help. I do not think I am at the point where I want to start buying everything separate and have to mix the perfect ratio. If this is just a add and vapor solution it would be great. Thank you for your insight..

There has been a recent uptick in questions just like this in the DIY sub-forum. DIY E-Liquid

The quick answer is, yes.

The longer answer is yes, so long as you understand that adding anything to your 12mg/ml base will lower the strength. Which is the same exact thing that folks who start mixing with 48mg/ml base face, diluting the strength, but in that case they are hitting a target of final strength. Your method will have different strengths based on how much flavoring is used.

If being precise on strength of nicotine is not an issue for you, then the method you are thinking will work pretty darn well.

Read the stickys on the DIY sub and hit the recipe section. If you have any questions, the folks in the DIY sub are usually pretty darn helpful.
