Diy Menthol turning SOLID ???

I recently started doing some DIY to attempt the perfect menthol vape.

A friend of mine set me up with 1 liter of 100mg nic (vg) and VG dilutant. As well as 2 types of menthol flavoring one alc based one pg based.

With the alc based menthol at 10-15% (I had a cold) it made a delicious perfectly vapeable juice.

Then I tried the PG based Menthol at the same concentration same recipe out came a thicker (with whitish bubbles) still delicious vape, went to refill carto and my needle was clogged, looked at the bottle and it was solid. tried twice more and still rock solid with varying levels of menthol.

is 90-85% VG with very little pg supposed to crystalize or could it be the actual menthol flavoring?

I have never tried disolving menthol crystals in VG but I think that PG and PGA are much better at keeping the crystals disolved from what I have heard. Could you try adding a few drops of PGA and put the bottle in warm water for a few minutes? Thats the only think that I could think to try. Good luck!

only Issue is i live in michigan and I can't buy pga anywhere I know of everclear here is only 165 proof. thinned a batch tonight with 0 degree vodka from my deep freezer, assuming that the thins stuff that separates is closer to pga than normal vodka. still chinking some though.

I didn't make the liquid it was a gift. If 165 will work for doing menthol i will be a very very happy camper. And Kimer thank you about to put in an order on your site later today !

in MN we cannot get everclear, so we use for our personal vapes 90 proof Vodka. Works just fine!
