Im looking for a switch that will safely fire a dual coil rda at .25-.3 ohms. The biggest thing I can find from any mod website is rated at 6 amps.
My other options are, fabricate a mechanical switch or use a push button automotive ignition switch. (Which would be total overkill.)
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

16.8 amps and 70 watts.

And you want to use a simple push button? Not advisable.
We used to use buttons for "simple mechs" back in the old days....these were for standard ohm (like 2.5) atomizers. Even then, the contacts failed easily.

You're trying SLR with .25 ohms. The contacts will erode in short order (pun intended).

The reason mechs use those bottom buttons with "pins" in them....is because the pin can be sanded or replaced. The little metal contacts in most buttons won't hold up. There's arcing inside.

There's a voltage drop across a power FET. You can try a power FET...but for 70 watts, make sure you know what you're getting into.

Basically, you need to think about failure modes...things fusing...or just quit working. Not advisable to just "make one"..it may work for a while then blow up the battery if contacts fuse or FETs fail on. (slim but real possibility)

Make sure you have vents. Better: Just get an inexpensive mech. Or even better yet, discover that great vapes happen at higher ohms too.

Otto has 10A rated switches: OTTO P8 Series Pushbutton Switches | Mouser

Your only other option is to use a MOSFET to take the load off the switch. Especially useful if you want to use a low rated switch or a small tact switch in your mod.

I've been wondering the same thing lately, thank you for posting the question slip and thank you mamu for the insight. Would you be able to expand on this MOSFET a bit more please? Any specific rating or range one should aim for? How about wiring?
