I'm attempting to make my own juice for budget reasons. I love Kustom's For Why Are. It's incredibly good. I am a bit confused in regards to flavors themselves. I bought Double RY4 and Bavarian Cream from Zeus in 50/50 12mg, and some 50/50 12mg nicotine. I mixed about 40% flavor and 60% nic. It isnt good. It's my first try so I know it'll take some time. Any suggestions here? Not sure of what ratios to use.... At all. I know I'll get 12mg no matter the ratios...but seems I may need way more flavor than I should need. The forums and videos I've been watching most people are using far less flavoring. Maybe i bought the wrong TYPE of flavor? I'm thinking maybe this "flavoring" is a finished read-to-vape product. But what i need is condensed flavoring. How does one know the difference. Here's a link to the flavor i bought. LINK http://www.zeusejuice.com/tasty-tobaccos/ry4-double-eliquid-flavor

For some reason my url keeps being removed

If you're linking to an un-registered supplier it'll be automatically removed. I've never heard of Zeus so I'm thinking they're not registered.

This is a thread just for the vendor DIY FlavorShack. You'll get much more help in the DIY Subforum. If you go to the eliquid forum, you'll see the link to DIY and that would be the appropriate place to ask for help.

40% flavoring is wayyyyyy too much. It's recommend to keep flavoring under 20% but many, many people use under 10-15%.

It sounds like you did buy pre-made juice rather than flavoring. To make your own DIY e-juice you'll need many things. Here's a list to start, with some links to the products you'll need from DIY FlavorShack:
1). Nicotine...it sounds like you already bought this in a 50pg/50vg solution and @ 12mg.
2). PG & VG ...you'll still need this to make a quantity of juice. For example, if you make 30ml of juice you'll only use a small amount of the nic solution you already bought and the rest of the 30ml will be pg, vg and flavoring. This is a link to pg PROPYLENE GLYCOL (PG) and vg VEGETABLE GLYCERIN (VG) . DIY Flavorshack also has a 50/50 premixed but since most flavors are suspended in pg it will make your final juice a bit higher in pg than vg. If you don't mind your juice being slightly higher in pg I would recommend it as it'll be a bit easier to mix with, but with the calculators available either route will work fine. Here's the link to pre-mixed 50/50: 50%VG 50%PG
3). Flavorings, this is a link to straight flavor concentrates that must be mixed with pg/vg and nic to get a finished e-juice. You can't vape these by themselves. DIY FLAVORINGS
4). An ejuice calculator. In the DIY sub-forum you'll find links to many different calculators. I suggest you take a look at several to decide which suits you. These calculators do all the math for you and tell you exactly how much of each ingredient you'll need to get to your desired finished e-juice.

You'll also need mixing equipment. You can mix e-juice by weight or volume. For weight mixing you'll need a scale and volume mixing you'll need syringes. I suggest volume mixing to start and after you gain some experience then you can switch to weight, if it sounds like something you'd like.

DIY Flavor Shack has kits with most of the things you'll need, you can find those here: DIY MIXING KITS I would recommend the Silver Kit, since you already have nic. If you don't have plenty of nic and you only bought a small amount then the Premium Kit, since you already know what flavors you'd like.

Before mixing anymore "juice" that you're going to inhale please read through the DIY Sub-Forum and get a good grasp of what it takes to mix your own juice. The folks there are very helpful and there's a ton of links and helpful info to get you going. It's not difficult to DIY e-juice but seeing what you mixed to begin with it doesn't seem like you've done much research. Please do lots of homework before attempting again ;) Just to make sure you're not creating something that could be harmful.

Good luck with your mixing, it's a great feeling when you create a juice that suits you perfectly.

Thanks so much for all the help! I figured I may be in the wrong forum. I'll check out your links and do more research.
Hi Lowell,

If you do have questions that can't be answered in the forum you can always ask us. We have been doing the mixing thing for 10 years now and would be more than happy to offer some insight into mixing. If you wanted you can also visit our website. We have some awesome starter kits that have everything you need to mix plus instructions so you can't go wrong. Even better if you do decide to get one you can enter the code DIY20 for 15% off of your order. I would recommend the 60.00 Kit. You get 6 1oz flavorings that retail at the cost of the total kit (super deal) I hope this helps and if you ever need help you can give us a cal @ 702-807-7215. Were are here to help Mon-Sat 10am-7pm and Sunday 12pm-4pm.

Happy mixing....
