So my vtr took a dump on me today and it was my only mod(still waiting on my next round of stuff from slowtech) so this is what I came up with on short notice.
18650 battery inside what used to be a small flashlight, a 12v toggle switch and using the vtr's adapter for a 510 connection. I also spliced a "type m" connection onto a USB cord for pass-through capability. I have to say I am loving it! My RSST is chucking more vapor than ever before. I am naming it the big ugly for obvious reasons. I now fully intend to build more of them, I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to build a mech mod
