DIY question

Hello, I've been doing a lot of research the past four weeks about DIY e-liquid. I aquired all the things I needed to create e-liquid and made about 5 bottles of different flavors last tuesday and they've been steeping since then.

My only question is, after watching many videos, all the e-juices turned dark, but mine still pretty transparent. I don't know if that has anything to do, but mine are made without nicotine...

Any ideas? Please help this noob.

Sometimes they turn dark, and sometimes they don't. Nicotine will oxidize, so if there's no nicotine it might affect the color. Sometimes they darken over a longer period of time.

Hello the color of the e liquid has a lot to do with the flavorings you use. The vanilla I use is very dark. Or using something like LorAnns grape for example. It's a really dark purple.

Only some juices go dark with age. None of mine do. I make most without nicotine, but I used to use nic in everything and it didn't make any difference. I have bought some ready mixed juices that did darken considerably with age.

The juice I make with nicotine is still clear after a month ,the only dark juice is when I make it dark like grape
