Hello ECF.

Im new to DIY and have a question.

I have bought alot 30/70 PGV and it was a mistake i made in my first order. Because its a mistake is that i want to make e-liquid that is 30/70 PGV or above when the aromas are in. So i have to put some 100% VG in it. My question here is how can i make it fx 20/80 PGV? what is the math i need to use? If i put 100ml 30/70 PVG and 100ml VG together, will it then be 200ml 15/85 PGV? Sorry my noob question, but im not good at math..

Okay, sorry for that. But it's because i need different ratio. I have bought aromas for like 4 recipes and they are from 30/70 PGV final mix to 25/75 PGV. But its different amount of aroma ml they need. One is 10% aroma and another is 16.5% so its hard to say one final mix i need because i actually need 4 different. For one of the recipes i need the PVG mix to be 21,5/79,5 and then add 9.5% aroma and end up at 30/70 PGV. The optimal would of course to buy pure PG, but i will use my 30/70 PGV mix first before buying more. Hope is more clear now

You are Correct.

If you have 100ml of 30%PG|70%VG you have 30ml of PG and 70ml of VG.

Now if you add 100ml of VG you have a Total of 200ml which is made up of 30ml of PG and 170ml of VG.

To put this back into a Percentage, you divide both the PG and the VG by the Total amount of ml's.

=> 30ml PG / 200ml of Total Volume
=> 30/200 = .15
=> 15% PG

Same with the VG

=> 170ml VG / 200ml of Total Volume
=> 170/200 = .85
=> 85% PG

So you now have 200ml of 15%PG|85%VG.

This is all Cool, but there is One Thing Missing. Is this 0mg PG and VG? Or does the Original 100ml 30%PG|70%VG have some Nicotine in it?

If so. How Much Nicotine does it have (mg/ml)?

And what mg/ml do you want to end up with?

Thansk for your replyes! Both the 30/70 and 100VG is 6 mg/ml nicotine and its fine for me that the nicotine is a little different from the recipes.

If the 30%PG|70%VG and the 100%VG are BOTH 6mg/ml, then no matter how much of Each you mix together, the mg/ml will Not Change.

The Result will be 6mg/ml.

You really should do some reading down in the DIY section (which is where this post is heading). Also load up Ujuicemeup or one of the other calculators. There are also some good U tubes out there.
