Well the difference is the difference.

Mixing at home means you can adjust flavors to suit your taste. It also means you can adjust the ratios of PG and VG.

It also means you decide exactly what goes into your liquid and you can control the cleanliness and additives. It is also a heck of a lot less expensive than buying premade and so long as you have nic base and flavorings, you will never run out of juice.

Some struggle at first to find a combination of flavors that work (I know I did) but it's like everything else, trial and error. If there were two bits of advice I'd give it would be to make sure you write down your recipe while making your liquid. There is nothing more frustrating than finally getting one you love and then forgetting how you made it. Second, start off with low percentage flavoring and adjust from there and remember the percentages are a total of flavoring and not for each one.

Oh and get yourself a good e-liquid recipe calculator like E-juice me up.

Hey Everyone!

Just have a question about DIY liquid. I have done a lot of research about DIY mixing etc, but I have yet to try it. I also have not seen anyone say what the difference is between stuff you make yourself, and what you can buy pre-made from various companies such as MBV, Space Jam, etc. Any thoughts?

One big difference is price. I'm coming in at about 8 cents per ml and expect to cut that further soon. So a 15 ml bottle runs me around $1.20 right now and I should be able to get that below a buck.
