Question re DIY...

Hi guys! i have some question re ejuice diy:

1. is there any secret component/liquid aside from the usual pg. vg, concentrate, and some additives (menthol, sweetener, etc)? my mix is 50/50 but its not that thick.

2. what is the maximum percentage for the concentrates? im into 20-24% but still lack in taste. the smell is good and looks tasty but when i try, it looks like theres something missing or what. im thinking to add anonther percentage just to please my taste buds. im looking for the "hit the g-spot" thing.

3. what is the difference between ethyl mathol and sweetener?

4. does anyone tried "the smooth" of TPA?

just forgot some question but will post it here when i remember.

1. Nope. I only use pg vg nicotine and flavors.
2. Depends on the brand and which flavor it is. Always start low and work your way up. Too much flavor with mute the flavor and you wont taste much of anything. Its weird.
3. Unsure.
4. No but I would like to. When I bought my last supplies they were out of it.

i started at 20%... too light, 21% same, 22% same... the only difference i notice is the more percentage, the more it smells good! only the odor...

download a calculator, I prefer the eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator play with it til you get used to it, it's fairly easy but takes a bit of getting used to

1. there are tons of flavors you can add

2. actually this is a case of less is more...with flavor start at 10 % (you can always add more) usually aim for between 10 - 20% depending on what flavors or vendors you are using

3 and 4 can't help you....some people use different things for sweeteners.

yep. until now im reading on that post and using ejuice me up. im the tpa/tfa recipe. or maybe my tongue is my problem!

na not your tongue...you are using too much flavor....use less flavor try 10% and then you can add a bit more if needed

i know it sounds odd but using too much flavor has the opposite effect and causes no taste...this was one of my first mistakes at diy

also keep in mind that your nic comes with either pg or vg already in it so you will need to calculate that into your recipe. this was my other first mistake to diy lmfao

i know a lot of people talk about steeping, but honestly I'm impatient lmfao and never steep...most of the time I mix in my tank, vape and go lol.

I've never had to add a sweetener, hmmm. I've used TPA in 95% of my DIY juice and love it. The above poster's are correct in that 10% is the correct initial starting point, add slowly to this to reach desired taste. Write down what you do or, if using the calculator, save it so you'll have it. Good luck!

As others have said, start at 10% (or even 5% with some flavors, you'll know them when you find them) and work up. I have a few that need to be mixed at almost 30% to have the proper taste, but those are few and far between..and they're also flavors I like to be ultra strong (black licorice, orange, etc), so for most people 10-15% is probably fine.

grrrr... i just created a 30ml! ill try a lower percentage next time or create another flavor. my prob is when i inhale theres a little taste but when i exhale, its muted already. im looking a finished that the local vendor produces that in 1st exhale youll probably taste the flavor.

Make another 30ml with no flavor, just nic and pg/vg. Then combine both and my guess flavor would drop to 11 Thought you said your were up too 22% flavor. This right DIY experts?

bright idea Sthur! for the diy expert, if thats ok please advise or ill give my recipe if theres a solution. i just create today a new flavor, with just 10% of strawberry and 10% og bavarian creme. ill try if this percentage will give me a satisfying hit on my taste buds!

I use 70% PG and 30% VG, for more flavor and throat hit vs. vapor production. I've found adding about five drops of french vanilla and two drops of sweetener can really make a difference on taste when my concoction is bland. Sometimes the change is immediately noticeable, other times it is way better after 24-48 hours.

I wouldn't see why that wouldn't work...
