Is there a good place for DIY beginners to gather info? I have just recieved my first batch of DIY supplies, and I am wondering if there are any nuggets of DIY wisdom that have been collected up and organized.
My first DIY experience:
I ordered 60 ml of 36 mg/ml VG liquid.
I mixed it down to my preferred nic level, 8 mg/ml, using a 2:7 ratio of 36 mg/ml liquid and pure VG.
My flavors haven't arrived yet. I ordered 13 bottles of FlavourArt flavorings ad they are on the way.
For .....s and giggles, I filled a cart with unflavored liquid. It was VERY thick. I used Taryn's battery sock spinning method to get 20 drops down into an empty Vapor King cartomizer. There is very little flavor to it and it seems to lack the cool feeling in my throat that V4L's factory filled, flavored cartos give. Edit: Also, there is a noticibly lower level of vapor production with my unflavored pure VG DIY mix.
Have I done this right? Should I be mixing in any water? How much flavoring should I add when it arrives? Is there anything else I should know?
