I'm trying to figure out the DK tobacco Base from the Perfumer's Apprentice. I'm beginning to wonder if the batches are mixed differently because some have said they smell roses, other smelly a nutty tone, and some have smelled a citrusy smell in it. I smell the citrus flavor and one drop of this in 5ml mixture makes the entire mixture have a slight citrus smell and taste. Is there something I missing with this DK tobacco base to bring out the nutty tobacco that it claims to provide? I read somewhere about diluting it with water and warming it up. Just looking for suggestions. Thanks!
