DNA 30 Battery Indicator

I'm having a problem with my dna 30 mod. I plugged in my USB cable to the Evolv USB charger and now the battery indicator shows as empty.
I have tried unplugging/inserting the cable again and letting it shut off and still no luck.

Any ideas?

try swapping battery out for one charged externally. that or bad QC on your mods assembly.

I left it charge for a while and the battery indicator eventually started to increase. I'm not sure what exactly went wrong.

Also I can't remove the battery as its a Protovapor XPV (Sony VTC5 but with a soldered on bracket)
