After a wait that seemed like FOREVER, I finally got my vapor shark dna in the mail yesterday. I get off work pretty late so I just plugged it in so I could use it today. I noticed that no lights indicated if it was charging, but didn't think anything of it...until this morning when I found it didn't charge AT ALL. I tried every outlet and micro USB cable in my house, but nope. Nothing. Hopefully they have good customer service and I don't have to wait as long to get a replacement as I did to get the first one. Ugh. What a horrible way to start the morning. :(

I've heard Evolve is having issues......

I've heard that too. I know there were a lot of complaints on their dna 20 model, which made me skeptical, but everyone was raving on their 30 so I pulled the trigger almost 2 months ago. Their store opens at 10 so hopefully they can figure something out...and not have to wait another 2 months.

That sucks. Mine's been perfect in every way. I've heard good things about their customer service, so good luck.

That's reassuring, thanks! I snuck in a couple toots when I opened it to make sure it fired, and I was blown away at the performance, so I really do like it, but now it's just a tease sitting there looking at it and not able to use it haha. So now, I'm back down to 11 watts max on my itaste. And coming from the 23 watts I tried it out at, 11 watts is weak sauce!

If you were rocking a mech, you'd be like, "23 watts? That's like vaping air!" :D

Hahaha. Very true, however, I very rarely go below .8ohms. I think I went to .6 one time and was like "Ok, I did it, got that out of my system." Im strange, I really don't like mechs, or any mod for that matter that requires you to take the battery out to charge it, so all of my mods are USB and can be used as passthroughs when charging. I'm never far from a USB so it's pretty convenient. Just got back from dropping off the DNA at the post office to be sent out for repair, or replaced. So hopefully I have one back in my hands by late next week. :D

I concur with that, it is a worthy mod, my experience has been smooth, hoping its just a hiccup for you. The led feature is not a stock evolv item, feature unique to Vaporshark. It may still charge despite the led defect, either bad led or bad connections when they installed the led pin outs. I have been very fortunate, I have not had a glaring negative experience with either the VaporShark, ZNA, Hana, and Markbugs....none are the perfect mods....they are all have their pros and con's...I'm pretty excited for what's coming.

I can vouch for their customer service. Within a day I had a pre-paid mailing label (2 day delivery), once received it took them 2 days to test and confirm defect, and the replacement was mailed the same day. Turnaround was last Thursday until today.

I was really hoping that it was just an LED issue, so that is when I left it plugged in over night to see if it would charge. Woke up this morning, and not even a little bit more charges. I really enjoyed it for the 30 minutes I had to use it before it lost all the charge it had in it, so I'm looking forward to getting it back :). And I agree with you, the horizon is looking pretty bright for what's to come, maybe one day ill pull the trigger on a Hana Mod, but by then, there will be something out that makes it look like old news. Which to my knowledge, there already is, but that's when vape budget hands come into play

I had a decent experience with the customer service. Oscar, I think his name is, was very helpful. He was thinking of anything I could do to fix it so I wouldn't have to send it out, but we both knew it was in vain. He said he would email me a label to print out to take to the post office and that the postage would be taken care of. I told him not to bother because my printer is on the fritz and that I had no problem paying for the return postage to which he was very grateful for. So far so good. Now to just get in back in working condition :)

Sorry I have just now seen your post! I shipped the DNA out on Friday and requested a tracking number be put with it. I tracked it up until Monday morning when it said it had been delivered around 10AM. I called Tuesday evening around 6PM just to make sure it got there in one piece and to see if they might know what's going on with it. I wasn't really concerned if anyone had looked at it yet or not, but since it IS a $170 device, I wanted to make sure it was in their hands. They claimed "they had no record of it ever showing up." That's when I started to get a little testy. Keep in mind, I called Tuesday night. This guy claimed that they had not received their mail yet for that day (AT 6PM ON A TUESDAY YOU HAVEN'T GOT ANY MAIL?!) I call BS. Plus, I told him it got there on MONDAY the day before. So he told me to hold a a but and he will "go check the ma to see it it had gotten there yet." A few minutes go by and he picks the phone back up to tell me the person with the mail box key had left for the day. I'm starting to get really concerned at this point. But he said if I don't hear back from them by today (Wednesday) confirming they have received it, to call them back. Ugh. This is gonna get interesting. Will keep you posted.

Best of luck to you and I hope you get your VS back ASAP! It is really a quality device, I'm loving mine. I've talket to Oscar before, he's great. If you can, try talking to him and I'm sure he'll get to the bottom of it and get you squared away. I've talked to other people there too, and some were more sketchy than others. The only reasons I did have to talk to them was for the pre-order delays and changes, so can't speak for defects though.

Thanks! Oscar does seem like a pretty cool guy, he just transferred me to the service guy to see if he had received my DNA yet. I still have hope in them as of right now lol, but if I don't get an email today telling me they have received my DNA, I will probably go bananas haha. They say good things come to those who wait, I've got the waiting down, now just waiting on the good things to come! :)

Glad to hear that! I hope it's good for the long run now

Me too! A big thanks for all of the replies in my sharing of my venting. It will be here on Monday and I will have to post a pic if it paired with my Russian. Never imagined myself having an almost $300 set up, but hey, everyone has to splurge every once in awhile. As of now I have zero bad things to say about VaporShark and I would highly recommend them. Their customer service and their tech team have been very helpful in this matter (as long as it comes to me with no more defects that is haha) Thanks again everyone! Will post pics soon!

There she is boys and girls! Hopefully the pic loads correctly as I am uploading it from my phone. Could not be happier! And I have to toot my own horn for a second because my very first build on my russian came out just right. 7 wraps of 28g and came out at 1.2 ohms. No flooding, no burnt hits :knocks on wood: BAZINGA.
