Hi guys, my first post and my first thread. Apologies for being a lil' bit too eggcited but i just wanted to get some views of the local vapers here.

Anyway, i started out, like most people, with the kangertech subox mini and i like how simple it is to use, coil, wick, etc. However, it does have the annoying spit back and my charging port has issues.

I care alot about the safety of these devices considering i already stay away from smoking cigarretes. Thus i ask for views on the DNA40 chip by evolv. And also their mods, 2 im eyeing for are the hcigar vt40 and the esquare dna40. If you're wondering why im not gg for the dna200 mods is because of budget issues obviously.

I've done some digging up and there are plenty of information regarding the dna40 mods and also how its somewhat lacking when compared to the sx350j.

i would say im still a beginner in the vaping scene. As in i know how to coil and stuff, but when it comes to technical details. Like using nickel for temp control and kenthal for regular var wattage. Just want to get a mod that has the safety features for a smooth vaping experience. No need so much clouds, i just want good flavour

If its not that good, then is the ipv4s is good enough?

I have used DNA40's before, though it didnt last me very long, i started getting the dreaded "check atomiser" warning which i feel may have been my fault. Can't really give you any feedback on VT40 and eSquare, sorry; but i have used the ipv4s and is it good enough?, it definitely is. It's solid, dual batteries and is an overall rugged beauty.

What do you wanna know about vt40?
Well i just started out with the subox and i want to upgrade to something better and also one with more safety features. Im not gonna smoke at very high wattage thats why i find that 40w seems enough. Are there any issues u faced with vt40 and how does it compare to lets say a mod of similar power but different chipset

Vt40 is very portable and comfortable to hold. It's just slightly bigger than a Ipvd2.

Chip wise, dna chip are far more precise than similar YIHI chips, especially for temperature control.

Vt40 feels durable too and it might last quite awhile. Although I really can't elaborate more as I only has my vt40 for 2 weeks.

I have been using vt40 for some time now..

Pros - solid feel, good to hold, vaping compared to my subox is like heaven and earth. although i got a crown & goblin mini. Pairing it with taifun gt2, excellent combo, single coil, easy to rebuild, no leak..

Cons - 40w only, hard to find condom casing, but manage to find skin to fit it. Expensive, compared to other decent mods..but to me worth it. Do take care of the battery cover, coz u need to screw unscrew the cap..heard a few guys lost it..if lost i dunno where to get but the C frame can find though.

I don't think it's worth it to get a dna40 mod. Mods are getting cheaper and better and more powerful at a fraction of the cost. Imo it's either DNA200 or not.

Well sadly, i plan to stay within budget and a dna40 is as high as i will go.. I was also considering the ipv4s if it isnt much of a difference, like i said im more focused of safety and reliability.. I mean tech is gonna progress and there'll be new mods every few mths so not much i can do about it

Hey bro, i am having the same problem with my vaporshark rdna40 with the check atomizer issue. I tried all my atomizers on it but it cant detect any atomizers which are working at other mods. Appreciate if you can share with me how u resolve it.

Ipv4s. A good performer, good size, easy to use.
