fasttech also has some with a bckup nut looks similar they are crome plated brass ...quality is pretty good also ...I like them.
damn pricey but they should last for quite awhile. plus you can tap the hole and thread them into your mod instead of pressing in and using jb weld or epoxy of your choosing. going to be using these on all high powered mods.
Where do you solder the wires? Right on the positive pin and the threads or retaining nut?
Positive wire gets soldered right on the bottom of the pin. Your negative wire, most everyone solders it to the nut on the bottom side. I have this exact same 510 going on my okr-t10 build

It's actually much easier than a soldering a "regular" 510 connector. And a better alternative to boot!
I remove the pin screw and use a springloaded pin from mouse. Works great so far!
Spring loaded pin from mouse? I would definitely like to have a spring loaded pin. Some atties are notorious for having 510 positive pins that are a hair too short.
Sadly (for me) those Mouser pins must be designed for the US military as they can't be sent over to the UK and there are no alternatives of a similar size and amp rating here. I saw Bapgood sugest them months ago and I'm still looking 
It's a very snug fit! I have to drill out the hole a touch and literally force the pin in with a punch. It's not coming out. I solder the positive wire after getting the pin seated in the derlin.

Does that give enough space to make contact with any atomizer I might stick on? I know that some Kayfuns of mine are particularly stingy with how much positive pin they've left hanging out.
I haven't had an issue with KFL or TFGT Clones. The tgt are stingy with center pin too.
Proetus,can you give a little more detail on the 510. Did you cut down the delrin or the 510 itself?I saw Bapgoods modification and don't have the means to do all that.I'm understanding that you just drilled out the delrin and press fit the contact pin in with out any other modification?

For that 510 yes, just enlarged the hole a touch and press fit the pin. That derlin also fits the chi you top cap from fasttech. It will require some shortening to fit in that one. But the same ideas apply, just have to cut down the length a bit.
