DNA20D USB charger help

Hi,
I'm a newbee on vaping.
I started my first project about 2 weeks ago and I'm still working on USB charger portion.
I connected wires as below but no changes on display even if connected to Wall USB charger.
By the way I'm using Micro USB B breakout board supplied by Jaycon Systems.

DNA20D Charger+ ------->VCC on Micro USB Breakout board
DNA20D Charger - ------->GRD on Micro USB Breakout board

All other functions are working fine.
Is it suppose to be?
Is it broken?

Please help.
