Do 510 mega batteries last *that* much longer?

So I find myself with about 20 bucks to try something new...literally no more than that. Last time I had that, a pass through was suggested, bought it, super glad I did. No regrets.
Found a place with 510 mega batts (280 mAh) for about 12 bucks. Do they last that much longer to make it worth a try? or would I just look like I'm trying to prove I have a big...ego?
Can't spend more than this...have enough liquid coming, etc. Just want to know if it's worth owning one of these.
Edit- Can I charge them on the same AC charger that came with my starter kit?

Personally, I think the mega batteries do last "that" much longer to make it worth the money. Yes, it will charge on your existing charger (just not the regular PCC).

I thought for the price (12) it might be worth a try, but the shipping may kill me.

They are that much better. I bought some right before I decided to get my Tornado/Ego and didn't get a chance to use them. I sold 'em to a friend who also vapes a 510 and he said they last a good bit longer than a normal 510 batt.

As said above, they ARE that much better. My wife has four and I just ordered her two more. Now she has them in black, white and pink (with matching atomizers). She won't use any battery but those.

Well, the short ones last me about as long as it takes me to vape my cart fairly empty, so it's a one-stop thingy to top off and change the battery. I have a couple of megas, though, and they are nice. But nothing beats an eGo when it comes to battery life:

- A normal battery has 180 mAh
- A mega battery has 280 mAh
- An eGo battery has 650 mAh

Yeah definitely the mega is better. I get a little better throat hit too.

BUT I would save a little more and just get an EGO it's like having 3 mega batteries in one.

I would go through 3 fully charged megas from 9am to 9pm.

I go through a single Ego battery in that time now.

My mega batteries last more than half again as long as my standard ones. Makes sense based on the mah rating.

Maybe, but runs on 3,7v, unlike Joye 510s, which run on 3.1. Noticeable difference, and not everybody likes their 510s running hotter than intended.

I know, but as great as that battery life is, for some, it doesn't matter much, because if you happen not to like the taste, those batteries are going to last very long
