I have had 4 juices steeping for about a week now and all were clear at first. Now 2 of them have started to get darker and the other 2 haven't gotten darker at all but flavor has still increased. I just want to get these 5 posts done
I mostly use unflavored. Just a bottle of 36mg nic in straight PG darkens to a golden brown over time. (I dilute the nic to 7.5mg before using). So it just may depend on how much nic you are using.
Yes that is normal like the others said, but I just wanted to welcome you to ecf. It is just the best place in the world to be. These folks help me all the time. Have fun and happy mixing.
Alot depends from what I have heard on any dyes that might be included in the liquid as well. I know my vapeshop does not use any dyes what so ever, so for the most part remain mostly clear. After some heavy steeping, they will turn a golden color, but wont darken up too much.

This has to do with nicotine oxidation, and if I'm correct the phenomenon is favored with high VG ratios.
From a DIY standpoint, some flavors are more prone to this than others, and of course their concentration in the juice matters.
As a result, people vaping at 0 nic should never see this happen, afaict.
