Do all 'Tobacco' flavours taste overly sweet?

Tried RY4 today as well as a few others in the lcoal e-cig store in my town in S.Korea.

They all had an undertaste of honey. Literally like they were leaving drops of hone on my bottom lip.

First taste was kind of like a weak gacky B*ng hit if you've ever done those and then a super sweet honeyish after taste.

The Oriental tobacco I have is okay but that's from JantyKorea and I did try a mild 7 at another store in Seoul and that was kinda actually like a mild 7 tho lighter with only a slight 'primer(ish) after / under taste.'

The sweet ones I tried today were all made and imported from China,so they could be cheapies...

Or do most tobacco types taste sweet?

Hope not as I have some 'USA Mix' and some 'Classic tobacco' coming in next week from greenhouseone and if they are sweet like the ones I tried today they will be getting thrown and not vaped....

No, not all tobacco flavors are sweet. But many are. (maybe not "overly sweet). I usually vape Pure Cig (with a splash of menthol) from Freedom Smoke USA. The only thing sweet about it is in the menthol. It's not a strong tobacco flavor, but it works for me.

I have tried about 5 different tobacco flavors and they all seem floral. Can anyone suggest or send me a sample of something that is a little sweet. I would prefer a flavor that I can add to flavorless nic liquid.

FSUSA's Pure Cig as stated above is good. Not sweet to me. Also, lighten up on the PG ratio to VG. PG gives a sweeter taste to most juice. Go with a higher VG if you can.

Interesting, the REALLY sweet (RY4) one did only have pg listed on the label, not vg at all as far as I could see....

Halo sells Freedom which is not sweet at all. It is a smoky tobacco flavor.

vapor4life Kamel and Dunhall are both a firm, not sweet, flavor.

If you can get a bit of Tobacco Absolute (like the product from The Perfumers Apprentice), just a drop or two per 10 ml of juice should knock out the sweetness, make it a firmer flavor.

Try the "extracted" tobacco flavors at VapeRite. They contain no additives or additional flavorings.

I see you are in Asia. Try flavors with names like Camel and Desert Ship and DK-TAB because the Turkish blends usually aren't sweet, at least not those I have tried. And avoid RY4 (a vanilla caramel tobacco) and maybe 555 (a vanilla almond tobacco).

And BTW - if you buy juices that are all VG base they will be sweeter because VG is sweeter than PG. PG is harsher, too harsh alone for me. Many people like juices with 70pg/30vg or 80pg/20vg and maybe 50/50 for smooth fruity or dessert flavors. PG is more TH and thinner, VG is more vapor, sweeter, thicker

I'll probably not bother much with the new tobacco ones I have any how.

I'm enjoiyng menthol so much and also anticipating enjoying the fruit flavors I have on the way, that I no longer see the point in analogue flavored juices. I ordered them when I was still in the 'I want to still feel like I'm smoking cigarettes' phase.

Will probably get some menthol chrystals and add them to the baccy flavors I have on the way or if my Ice menthol is very strong, maybe mix them with that to make it last longer... glad I started out only ordering 10ml bottles!
